Daycare and school

As an extracurricular learning venue, the August Macke House Museum offers a unique opportunity to introduce preschoolers and schoolchildren to the life of one of the most important artists of German Expressionism. At the place where he worked, they not only encounter precious originals, but also immerse themselves in the atmosphere of an eventful artistic life in an exciting time. In age-appropriate tours and workshops, children and young people are inspired to engage in independent creative research and creation. The newly furnished museum education studio offers space to experiment with different artistic techniques and materials.
