Family tours with hand puppets
Wolf, the Macke family's courageous and sometimes clumsy dog, guides visitors through the exhibition. He is accompanied by Ingrid Macke, theatre educator and actress, who chats and talks shop with Wolf, recounting the life of August Macke and his friends from a different perspective. Includes a practical session in the museum education studio.

ART BREAK WITH BABY
Tour of the current special exhibition for parents with babies (up to 1.5 years old) and welcome babbling contributions.

Do it yourself, try it out, experiment and engage all your senses! Our creative workshops use works from the collection and current exhibitions as a starting point for viewing art and creating your own designs in our beautiful, bright studio space.

WORKSHOPS FOR CHILDREN
Do it yourself, try it out, experiment and engage all your senses! We offer our creative workshops as children's and family workshops, holiday programmes or children's birthday parties. All offers can be adapted to the age of the children and can be booked freely by appointment.

WORKSHOPS FOR FAMILIES
After a playful journey of discovery through the museum, the whole family can slip into the role of artists themselves in the museum education studio. Here you can learn about different artistic techniques, forms of expression and materials and try them out in a relaxed atmosphere. In addition to our standard offerings, we are happy to arrange individual workshops with you, which can also be combined with a guided tour featuring Wolf the hand puppet.

CHILDREN'S BIRTHDAY PARTY
A children's birthday party at the August Macke House Museum allows guests to immerse themselves in the world of art. Inspired by August Macke, the birthday party guests get creative themselves in the museum education studio. You take care of the catering, we take care of the rest. A museum educator will work with you to organise the party and plan a creative programme based on the birthday child's ideas.
€150 for 2½ hours plus €3 per child for materials
