We offer public and private tours of the residence and studio house and our special exhibitions, providing a lively art experience for adults and children with and without disabilities.

PUBLIC TOURS OF THE FORMER HOME AND STUDIO OF AUGUST MACKE

Every third Friday of the month at 3 p.m.

Our public tours offer you the opportunity to learn more about August Macke, his life and work. The number of participants is limited to 10. 
€5 per person, plus admission; no registration required.

INDIVIDUAL GUIDED TOURS OF THE FORMER HOME AND STUDIO OF AUGUST MACKE OR THE CURRENT SPECIAL EXHIBITION

During individually tailored guided tours, you will learn all about the current special exhibition or August Macke's work in his former home and studio.

Guided tour (60 mins), £70 per group, plus admission. 
Combined guided tour of both exhibitions (90 mins), £100 per group, plus admission. 
Director's tour (60 mins), £105/group, plus admission. 
Guided tour in English or French (60 mins), £80/group, plus admission.

Max. 25 people in the special exhibition and max. 10 people in the former home and studio.

 

Workshops

Do it yourself, try it out, experiment and engage all your senses! Our creative workshops use works from the collection and current exhibitions as a starting point for viewing art and creating your own designs in our beautiful, bright studio space.

 

 

WORKSHOPS FOR ADULTS

Inspired by works from the exhibitions, our workshops offer you the opportunity to learn about, discuss and try out different artistic techniques, design languages and materials in a convivial atmosphere. No prior knowledge is required! In addition to our current offerings, we are happy to arrange individual workshops with you, which can also be combined with a guided tour.

STICKWORKSHOP

Whether based on Macke's designs for embroidery or completely freeform, textile artist Beata Prochowska will inspire and guide you with needle and thread to create your very own masterpiece. 
Ongoing course, 4 sessions, £115 including admission and materials
